an online immersion for white women on becoming anti-racist
Wellness has a diversity issue. We see it in magazines. We see it in yoga studios. Wellness looks white. How do we reckon with a booming wellness industry that is almost exclusively white while the wellbeing of black, brown and indigenous folks suffer at disproportionate rates? “The Wellbeing Gap” is impacting ALL OF US. Join me for a powerful immersion about equity and inclusion in wellness that tackles the following questions:
What is the impact of whiteness on our wellness communities?
How am I perpetuating a culture of exclusion in wellness?
How do we create a culture of radical inclusion and equity?
Together, we will explore our social proximity to power and privilege, how to dismantle systems of oppression and cultivating a practice of solidarity and citizenship.

How is this different from an "away" retreat?
This "home retreat" is designed to be affordable, accessible and transformative for anyone wishing to integrate self-care into their lives. Programming is designed to meet you where you are and adjust to YOUR lifestyle. The purpose for this is so that we can cultivate for ourselves a practice that can become integrated into our everyday throughout the year.
what will i leave with?
This training is designed for well-meaning white women who are committed to unpacking white supremacy and its impact on the wellbeing of our communities. We will provide meditations to build your capacity for presence and courage, we will discover our truth through journaling, we will become more aware through a curated social syllabus and we will dig deep together through community coaching and contemplation. Together, we will examine our social proximity to power and privilege, our role and relationship in dismantling systems of oppression and cultivating a practice of solidarity and citizenship for the wellbeing of everyone.
What is the schedule?
Every day you will receive a retreat "package" in your inbox containing the following: 1) meditation practice 2) journaling assignment (morning pages) 3) social syllabus (reading for raising consciousness) 4) call in details for our LIVE coaching session 5) daily inspiration. The coaching calls will be LIVE at 6pm EST so that we can directly support one another in our process and growth (one-on-one coaching with Kerri is available upon request). All sessions will be recorded if schedule not permitting.
How much time should I reserve?
While the schedule is flexible, we strongly recommend reserving a morning session (2 hours) and an afternoon session (2 hours) to optimize your practice and process of transformation. We designed this program to have a "lite" framework to encourage you to customize your own time to integrate this work. Consider how you might want to include a daily practice in your life and experiment with that schedule throughout the retreat. Don't commit to something you cannot see through. Be kind and patient with yourself. And know that you are not alone...we will be there to support you along the way.
WHY IS THIS ONLY FOR WHITE WOMEN?
White women, we’ve got work to do. And not just for ourselves, but for our daughters and our daughters’ daughters. The future women of this country deserve a culture that believes in them and a system that supports them. WW have historically played a significant role in upholding systems of oppression and, therefore, have a responsibility to dismantle those systems and follow the leadership of black and indigenous women into the future. It’s time for for us to go get our people and fight one another’s wellbeing.
